Tech City UK is committed to championing the UK tech ecosystem. To ensure that the UK remains the global leader in fintech, in 2017 we have launched a dedicated fintech programme with a three-pronged focus:
A Fintech Delivery Panel – a body to identify key industry initiatives that need to be implemented to continue to support the growth of UK Fintech. The FDP’s vision can be found here.
- Fintech Programme and Support – we are developing a series of masterclasses throughout 2017/8 to address key points of friction for high-growth fintechs. We’ve also set out a list of resources to help fintechs navigate professional providers (see below)
- Financial Inclusion – we have launched our Fintech For All competition to support digital innovation from fintechs that help people better manage their money
What is the Fintech Delivery Panel (FDP)?
The Panel’s purpose is to identify the key collaborative initiatives that will make a significant difference to the domestic UK fintech landscape and work to accelerate their time-to- market.
To do this, the panel will set out its vision for the UK fintech landscape by 2020, then identify measures for industry to help reach this vision, and enact them.Learn More

Participate – join one of the working groups tackling key priorities
Feedback – we’re always happy to hear from fintechs, let us know how we’re doing and where you’d like to see us focus next
