Tomorrow, July 7th, Tech City UK CEO Gerard Grech will speak at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). The public lecture, entitled Digital Capital: Where Next for London in the Tech Revolution, will feature Gerard’s opinions on how we can build a more inclusive, responsive relationship between city and citizen through the medium of technology.
The lecture will be chaired by LSE’s Max Nathan, who specialises on the economics of cultural diversity, in particular the performance of diverse cities, communities and teams. Nathan is also interested in innovation systems and clusters, and in wider public policy for cities, especially policy design and evaluation.
This free event will be Gerard’s first public lecture at the LSE and will feature personal insights from his tenure as CEO of Tech City UK. The event will be followed by a Q&A discussion on the evolution of London as it solidifies it’s position as the European tech capital. For full details and directions, visit the LSE Events website.
